ANACIM indicates that these adverse conditions are projected to persist until Saturday, May 16th, at 1:00 AM.

Concurrently, powerful northerly winds are expected to sweep across the Grande Côte from Monday, May 11th, at 11:00 PM, until Wednesday, May 13th, at 7:00 AM, with gusts potentially reaching speeds of 40 km/h.

The agency highlights several potential repercussions stemming from these severe weather patterns, including extremely turbulent seas, considerable challenges for navigation and fishing activities, and perilous waves along the coast. Light vessels, in particular, are identified as being highly susceptible to the noted risks.

In light of this evolving situation, ANACIM urges fishermen, other sea users, and communities residing in coastal areas to exercise the utmost caution and to rigorously observe all prescribed safety instructions.
