The Malian government has unveiled a financial incentive ranging from 500 million to 2 billion West African CFA francs for credible information that could lead to the arrest or neutralization of seven individuals suspected of involvement in terrorist activities.
The announcement, made through a statement signed by the Minister of Security and Civil Protection, General Daoud Aly Mohammedine, underscores the country’s intensified efforts to combat terrorism and safeguard national security.
The individuals targeted by this initiative are accused of playing key roles in planning, organizing, or executing attacks that have endangered both lives and property across Mali.
The list includes:
- Iyad Ag Ghali (also known as Abou Al-Fadel)
- Hamadoun Hassan Sangaré (aka Amadou Kouffa or Môbbô)
- Abdoulaye Mamadou Bakaye Diallo (nicknamed Jouleybib de Nampala or Sidi)
- Alghabass Ag Intalla
- Sedan Ag Hita (using aliases Outhman Al Ansari, Abdel Hakim Al Kidali, and Al Qayrawani)
- Bilal Ag Acherif
- Abderrahmane Al-Batna Al-Jazairi
The government emphasized that these suspects are the subject of active investigations by security forces due to their alleged participation in recent terror operations across Mali.
In a call to action, authorities urged citizens to remain vigilant and assist defense and security services by sharing any information that could aid in locating or apprehending these individuals. The appeal comes as national security operations against armed terrorist groups continue across several regions.
