IAI-Cameroun graduate shines with top academic honor in Paris
In a grand ceremony brimming with academic luminaries, cultural icons, and diplomatic leaders, Brayan Yebga Miyogog—an alumnus of the African Institute of Computer Science in Cameroon (#IAI-Cameroun), under the esteemed Paul Biya Center of Technological Excellence—was honored with the prestigious ‘African Student Excellence Award’ (PEEA) on June 27, 2026, in Paris. This coveted recognition celebrates his outstanding academic achievements, unwavering resilience, and ethical leadership that champions Africa’s global influence.
The award underscores the exceptional caliber of training provided at IAI-Cameroun, managed by Resident Representative Armand Claude Abanda, who also holds the UNESCO Chair for Central Africa in ICT Access. Miyogog’s silver medal achievement highlights the institution’s commitment to nurturing top-tier talent capable of driving technological and ethical advancements across the continent.
Reflecting on his journey, Miyogog attributed his success to the rigorous standards instilled at the Paul Biya Center of Technological Excellence. ‘On the big day, I will proudly represent IAI-Cameroun,’ he shared. ‘My speech will spotlight the transformative impact of the education I received here. It fills me with immense pride to stand before this audience as a testament to the school’s excellence.’
Remarkably, just weeks prior to this accolade, Miyogog co-led #AgriGuardian to victory at the ‘TechforTech Public Prize’ in the 2026 Petit Poucet competition. Currently based in Montpellier, France, he serves as a junior systems architect and cybersecurity trainer, combining deep expertise in software engineering, digital security, and artificial intelligence.
