The Chadian delegation, led by the minister, included key figures such as the first deputy mayor of N’Djamena, officials from SOPROFIM, and representatives from UN-Habitat. Discussions during the forum centered on critical urban issues, including housing challenges, fostering sustainable urbanization, and building city resilience against the impacts of climate change.

This achievement, supported by Kenya, promises to unlock substantial funding for urban resilience projects, particularly those focused on mitigating the devastating effects of flooding.
On the sidelines of the forum, productive discussions were held with Kenya and Morocco. These engagements explored the establishment of new partnerships in urban development, social housing programs, and the vital restructuring of informal settlements. Plans are now underway for collaborative missions to facilitate knowledge exchange and shared experiences among these partner nations.
For the minister, this mission marks a pivotal moment, opening concrete avenues for Chad. These opportunities are expected to be transformed into impactful, structured projects that will directly benefit the population.
