Ousmane Sonko appoints former minister Maïmouna Dièye to a key advisory role

Ousmane Sonko, currently at the helm of the National Assembly, is systematically building his staff. According to the directive issued by the parliamentary institution’s president, Maïmouna Dièye’s responsibilities will encompass critical domains such as Social Action, Family welfare initiatives, the vigorous Promotion of Women’s Rights, Child Protection strategies, and comprehensive support for vulnerable demographics, specifically including individuals living with disabilities.
