as the UEFA Champions League final between PSG and Arsenal kicks off this saturday at 6 PM, Canal+ and M6 are rolling out extensive coverage. L’Équipe, which does not hold broadcasting rights, will also dedicate its entire afternoon and evening to the match.

Canal+ holds exclusive rights to the UEFA Champions League and is showcasing its expertise with a comprehensive pre-match build-up. Canal+ Foot will go live at 9 AM, offering news updates and live connections from Budapest. At noon, a special edition of La Clinique des sports, hosted by Lyes Houhou, will feature sports science experts and former player Alain Roche analyzing PSG’s physical and mental preparation.

Starting at 1 PM on Canal+, the Canal Bus will hit the streets of Budapest, guided by Jules Deremble, to capture the city’s electric atmosphere ahead of kickoff. The Canal Champions Club crew—comprising Hervé Mathoux, Laure Boulleau, David Ginola, Robert Pirès, Christophe Jallet, Bertrand Latour, and Gauthier Kuntzmann—will travel in the bus to the Puskás Aréna, where they’ll broadcast live from pitchside starting at 4 PM.

The PSG-Arsenal final will be called by Paul Tchoukriel and Sidney Govou, with Margot Dumont and Dominique Armand reporting from the touchline and conducting post-match interviews. A primetime special, Late Finale Club, will follow the game, hosted by Nicolas Tourriol alongside analysts Samir Nasri, Aline Riera, Mickaël Landreau, and referee Tony Chapron.

M6’s world cup team takes center stage

As the free-to-air broadcaster of the final, M6 is sending part of its 2026 FIFA World Cup team to Budapest. Xavier Domergue and Benoît Cheyrou will provide commentary, joined by Samuel Umtiti as pitchside commentator and Virginie Sainsily handling touchline reporting.

On the pitchside, Ophélie Meunier and Smaïl Bouabdellah will host pre-match coverage starting at 5 PM, followed by post-match analysis. They’ll be joined by football legends Ludovic Giuly, Johan Djourou, and special guest Luis Fernandez, who is covering the FIFA World Cup on beIN Sports despite his usual role as a pundit elsewhere.
