In a meeting held on Thursday in N’Djamena, Chadian Prime Minister Allamaye Halina warmly received Abdelkader Djellaoui, Algeria’s Minister of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, during a two-day working visit to Chad. The encounter centered on strengthening bilateral ties and celebrating Algeria’s influential role on the African stage.
The Chadian head of government expressed deep appreciation for President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s unwavering commitment to fostering cooperation and integration between the two neighboring nations. Allamaye Halina commended the Algerian leader’s vision, stating, “The wisdom and dedication of President Tebboune in advancing African solidarity and deepening mutual development are truly inspiring. Chad values Algeria’s pivotal role in supporting the continent’s progress.”
As a gesture of solidarity, the Chadian Prime Minister conveyed fraternal greetings from President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno to President Tebboune, underscoring the enduring historical bonds and shared values that define the relationship between Chad and Algeria.
Allamaye Halina also extended warm regards to Algerian Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb, reaffirming Chad’s commitment to expanding bilateral cooperation and exploring new avenues for partnership with Algeria.
The Algerian delegation, which included high-ranking officials such as Abed Hallouz, Director-General of Algeria’s Agency for International Cooperation and Solidarity Development, the Algerian Ambassador to Chad, and key representatives from Algeria’s Ministry of Public Works and Basic Infrastructure, joined Abdelkader Djellaoui. Senior executives from Cosider Travaux Publics and Algeria’s National Public Works Company (Entp) were also present, marking a productive exchange focused on infrastructure collaboration.
