A lively celebration of West African culture unfolded in a festive atmosphere.

On Saturday, June 20, 2026, the Marcel-Sembat hall resonated with the rhythms of West African traditional music and dance during the «Vibrations africaines» gala, organized by the Faso Lili association.

Before a captivated audience of 170 attendees, the colorful evening showcased the richness of West African cultural heritage while supporting a meaningful solidarity project.

Faso Lili has been dedicated for years to promoting West African music and dance through classes, workshops, and performances. This annual gala provided members with an opportunity to present their work alongside renowned professional artists.

The show, blending live music and choreography, featured nearly 70 performers on stage, accompanied by five professional musicians and two professional dancers. The audience enjoyed performances by Samba Diarra, singer-songwriter, Ali Diarra from the group Les Frères Diarra, and choreographer and dancer Moussa Camara. The evening was further enhanced by the presence of Malian professional dancer Mariam Doumbia, whose talent and energy left a lasting impression.

Throughout the night, spectators were immersed in captivating rhythms, vibrant costumes, and a true celebration of West African culture. The intermission offered attendees a convivial moment to enjoy refreshments served on-site.

Beyond its artistic dimension, the gala carried a strong humanitarian mission. Every euro raised during the evening will support Faso Lili’s cultural center project in Burkina Faso, an initiative designed to promote cultural access, knowledge transmission, and intercultural exchange.

Thanks to the dedication of volunteers, artists, members, and the public, the 2026 edition of «Vibrations africaines» was a resounding success, once again proving that culture is a powerful force for sharing, connection, and solidarity.
