A wave of shock and grief swept through the Anguissa community on Sunday, June 28. Sylvana, a 10-year-old girl, was fatally stabbed by a 22-year-old woman who claimed to have acted under the influence of the Holy Spirit. The incident occurred while the girl’s parents were away, leaving her vulnerable.

Sylvana succumbed to multiple stab wounds inflicted by her attacker. The suspect was apprehended on June 28, 2026, at a place of worship and is now in police custody as authorities continue their investigation to uncover the full circumstances of this horrific crime.
