The event drew thousands of enthusiasts, breeders, and riders, all gathered to celebrate a sport deeply woven into Chad’s cultural heritage.
The Head of State observed the races before unveiling a landmark financial boost designed to strengthen the sector. Speaking on his behalf, the Minister of State and Director of the Presidential Cabinet, Aziz Mahamat Saleh, announced a 50 million CFA franc allocation to modernize horse racing infrastructure and enhance the national equine breed.
« The Republic’s leadership is fully committed to advancing horse racing in Chad and elevating the quality of our equine breeds », the minister declared to a captivated audience.
