VfB Stuttgart has officially secured the permanent services of Bilal El Khannouss. Following a standout loan spell from Leicester City, the 22-year-old Moroccan attacking midfielder has committed to a long-term contract with the Bundesliga club, cementing his future in Germany.

In his inaugural season in the German top flight, the gifted international midfielder made a significant impact, featuring in 41 matches across all competitions. His impressive contributions included finding the back of the net nine times and providing seven crucial assists. These consistent and robust performances were instrumental in earning him a coveted spot in the Moroccan national squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup, where the esteemed Atlas Lions are set to kick off their campaign against football powerhouse Brazil on June 14.

El Khannouss’s journey through European football began with his development at Anderlecht, followed by his breakthrough at Genk. He then had a stint with Leicester before making his permanent move to Stuttgart.
