During a high-level meeting in Rabat, the Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Residing Abroad, Nasser Bourita, welcomed Sering Modou Njie, Gambia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Special Envoy of President Adama Barrow. The Gambian diplomat brought an official message addressed to His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
Following the discussions, Njie praised the strong and enduring relationship between Morocco and Gambia. He highlighted the deep-rooted bonds of friendship, solidarity, and mutual cooperation that define the ties between Rabat and Banjul.
The Gambian Foreign Minister also emphasized the robust nature of the bilateral partnership, noting that it is built on shared objectives and a mutual commitment to deepen collaboration. This vision aligns with both nations’ shared aspirations for progress and development.
In his closing remarks, Njie reiterated Gambia’s unwavering dedication to enhancing bilateral cooperation across multiple key sectors that hold mutual benefits for both countries.
