PASTEF-Les Patriotes has successfully concluded a dynamic two-day political tour across the Jolof region. This significant journey, which spanned all 19 communes of the Linguère department—from Dahra to Barkédji, including Sagatta and Yang-Yang—saw the active participation of party leader Ousmane Sonko, State Minister Habib Sy, along with numerous national executives and coalition allies.
The extensive engagement featured crucial meetings with local religious and customary authorities, demonstrating the party’s commitment to community dialogue. Simultaneously, the leadership connected with PASTEF’s foundational structures, including youth movements, women’s groups, and executive cadres. Following this impactful mobilization, the local party leadership formally established its strategic roadmap for upcoming initiatives. With the inauguration of the departmental headquarters and the commencement of member card distribution, PASTEF aims to solidify its grassroots presence through a localized approach within the department’s villages and neighborhoods.
Beyond this internal organizational phase, local political officials are extending a broad invitation for unity. They call upon militants, sympathizers, and political actors from other affiliations who share their vision to join PASTEF’s territorial development project.
