The High Authority for Party Regulation (HARP) of Pastef-Les Patriotes has released the provisional list of candidates vying for the party presidency, ahead of the upcoming political convention. According to the official statement, only Ousmane Sonko’s bid has been deemed eligible at this stage.

The decision, issued by the body overseeing the internal electoral process, underscores that no other applications met the required criteria. The upcoming Pastef-Les Patriotes convention, scheduled for the coming weeks, will ultimately determine the party’s next leader.
