Agent confirms Aleksey Batrakov’s imminent transfer to Paris Saint-Germain

Indeed, the club appears on the verge of finalizing its inaugural transfer for the upcoming season. For weeks, rumors have linked Lokomotiv Moscow‘s rising star, Aleksey Batrakov, with a move to the reigning European champions. Now, the 20-year-old Russian international’s agent, Dmitry Cheltsov, has openly confirmed the impending transfer. Speaking on the Russian television program, Comment Show, Cheltsov stated, “It’s high time to announce that, with 95% certainty, Batrakov will be joining Paris Saint-Germain.” He further elaborated on the advanced stage of negotiations, revealing that PSG and Lokomotiv Moscow officials have engaged in over ten phone discussions. This week, Luis Campos is slated to travel to Moscow to put the finishing touches on the deal. “At this point,” Cheltsov added, “only a force majeure could prevent this transaction.” The reported figures suggest a transfer fee of 25 million euros, with an estimated annual salary of 5 to 6 million euros for the player. This season, the dynamic attacking midfielder showcased exceptional talent for Lokomotiv Moscow, netting 17 goals and providing 13 assists across 36 appearances in all competitions. Such a profile aligns perfectly with Paris Saint-Germain‘s strategic recruitment policy, focusing on promising young talent.
