PASTEF-Les Patriotes has successfully concluded an impactful 48-hour political outreach across the Jolof region. Delegations traversed all 19 communes within the Linguère department—from Dahra to Barkédji, including Sagatta and Yang-Yang—with party leader Ousmane Sonko, Minister of State Habib Sy, and numerous national officials and coalition allies actively participating in the field.
This extensive immersion into the heart of Jolof showcased significant local strength and engagement. The itinerary featured respectful courtesy calls and substantive discussions with the region’s religious and traditional leaders, alongside strategic working sessions held with the party’s foundational structures, encompassing youth, women, and executive members.
Strengthening territorial reach and opening the departmental headquarters
Following this robust mobilization, the local party chapters officially unveiled their strategic roadmap for the upcoming period. A pivotal moment of this journey was the inauguration of PASTEF’s new departmental office, marking the formal launch of its membership card distribution campaign. The primary objective is to intensify territorial coverage through dedicated, grassroots efforts in every village and neighborhood throughout the department.
An appeal for broad unity
In the wake of this internal organizational restructuring, local political leadership extended a solemn invitation for unity. This call to rally extends not only to long-standing activists and supporters but also welcomes political figures from other affiliations who wish to contribute to the party’s vision for territorial development.
