The King stressed the need to address persistent inequality by ensuring macroeconomic benefits reach all regions and citizens, emphasizing ongoing social development programs and expanded social protection coverage.
He called for mobilization of national savings to consolidate recent gains and prepare for upcoming national projects following legislative elections scheduled for September 23, 2026.

“Praise be to God, prayers and peace be upon the Prophet, his family and companions.
Dear people,
With immense pride and deep satisfaction, we celebrate today the twenty-seventh anniversary of our accession to the throne. For twenty-seven years, divine will entrusted me with guiding your destiny. This mission is noble and the task immense.
In resonance with the Almighty’s words: ‘If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor],’ we thank Him for guiding us toward success in meeting your expectations and addressing your concerns.
Never was the pursuit of personal glory or international leadership titles my goal. My sole concern has always been to fulfill my responsibility to serve you, ensuring all Moroccans live with dignity as free citizens.
Today, reviewing what we have accomplished together fills me with honor and pride in our significant achievements, instilling confidence in our future.
More than personal satisfaction, this assessment generates a gratifying sense of trust and serenity that strengthens our resolve to move forward and pursue our endeavors.
Our progress stems from a clear strategic vision and a governance doctrine centered on initiative-taking, rigorous follow-up, constructive self-criticism, and genuine determination to approach the future with determination and positivity.
Dear people,
Our country stands at a pivotal moment in its development journey where an ideal of confidence and optimism must prevail over any rhetoric that breeds despair and frustration.
Most gratifying is the security and stability prevailing in Morocco, coupled with the effective functioning of public institutions.
Indeed, in a regional and international context marked by turmoil and multiple tensions, political and institutional stability represents a rare and invaluable asset.
Today, stability is the key variable in Morocco’s development equation. It is the strategic capital that makes our country proud.
Dear people,
With its millennia-old history, Morocco draws strength from its ancestral traditions of nation-state institutions that fulfill their roles in harmony and complementarity. This is why achievements continue with the required efficiency, and the country successfully meets challenges despite difficulties and constraints.
In this regard, Morocco has demonstrated its effectiveness through the successful organization of major continental and international events, earning global admiration and respect, though not without occasional envy.
Moreover, Morocco has shown great resilience in facing disasters and crises, as notably demonstrated in the proactive management of floods that affected the Gharb and northern regions.
Thanks to the prevailing security and stability, combined with institutional efficiency, positive indicators are multiplying across all sectors, reinforcing the economic emergence dynamic and further safeguarding national sovereignty.
In fact, growth reached around 4.9% in 2025, with similar or higher rates expected for 2026.
Regarding agriculture, Morocco experienced abundant rainfall and a strong agricultural season. This favorable context has strengthened water and food security in the country.
Indeed, the automotive, aeronautics, renewable energy, and agri-food industries now form essential pillars of the national productive fabric, both for their ability to attract investment and their capacity to create wealth and jobs.
Today, Morocco has become Africa’s top automotive exporter, with annual production capacity reaching approximately one million vehicles. The automotive and aeronautics sectors now account for over 40% of Morocco’s total exports, surpassing even the phosphate sector.
To support this trend, we presided over the launch ceremony of new industrial units at the beginning of the year. Thus, we paved the way for Morocco to enter the exclusive circle of countries with major hubs specializing in aircraft engine and landing system manufacturing.
Driven by the same spirit of innovation and development, major projects are underway to make renewable energies a cornerstone of energy security and an attractiveness lever for industries seeking competitive, decarbonized energy.
To support this ambitious strategy, the operational implementation of the ‘Morocco Green Hydrogen Offer’ has begun with the awarding of permits to a first group of megaprojects.
Dear people,
In an international context marked by the return of protectionism and the imperative to secure supply and production chains, we have made strengthening national sovereignty and strategic self-sufficiency major axes of industrial development.
This orientation finds its most eloquent illustration in the agri-food and pharmaceutical industries, which now cover nearly 80% of national needs.
Additionally, the establishment of an industrial and technological base for defense and cybersecurity will gradually consolidate sovereignty in defense matters and generate development opportunities, reinforcing our country’s status as a regional power in these sectors.
Alongside economic sector promotion, we continue to implement multiple human development initiatives and programs, particularly through the generalization of social protection. Our ultimate goal is to improve the living conditions of Moroccans and establish social and spatial justice.
In this regard, we emphasize the need for efficient implementation of integrated territorial development programs, ensuring they encompass all regions without exception.
Furthermore, the economic and social transformation dynamic requires mobilizing financial resources of unprecedented scale, primarily from domestic financing.
Therefore, we urge the national financial sector to continue supporting investment and major projects while qualitatively expanding access to financing—both banking and non-banking—for small and medium enterprises, innovation, industrialization, and exports.
We also aspire for the financial sector to be more open and innovative in optimally mobilizing national, particularly institutional, savings and revitalizing financial markets. This will accelerate Morocco’s emerging development momentum.
Dear people,
With God’s help, we have consolidated Morocco’s position as a credible, respected, and listened-to international actor.
Indeed, the Kingdom now stands as a leading economic operator and a sought-after partner for balanced, forward-looking partnerships.
With these statuses, it can now confidently and transparently engage all its partners and formulate constructive partnership offers and promising cooperation initiatives on bilateral issues and major international challenges.
Acting with commitment and responsibility, our country has also chosen to diversify its partnerships to strengthen its capabilities and expand their impact across all domains.
Dear people,
These economic and social achievements transcend government and parliamentary mandates. They result from a virtuous cumulative dynamic spanning years, driven by our country’s strategic orientations and the relevance of its major choices.
We hope that following the next legislative elections and the emergence of a new government, a new cycle in our development trajectory will begin, characterized by preserving achievements and continuing major projects and reforms.
Dear people,
The celebration of the Glorious Throne Day is an opportunity for us to once again express our pride and esteem for Our Royal Armed Forces, the Royal Gendarmerie, territorial administration, national security, auxiliary forces, and civil protection—for their dedication and constant mobilization under Our command to defend national unity and preserve the country’s security and stability.
On this occasion, we fondly remember the valiant martyrs of the Nation, foremost among them Our revered grandfather, the late King Mohammed V, and Our illustrious father, the late King Hassan II—may God have mercy on them.
In conclusion, let us cite the verse that states: ‘God does not wrong [in the least] the people who do right.’
Wassalamu alaikoum wa rahmatoullah wa barakatouh.”
