Morocco shines at Düsseldorf consular evening celebrating 70 years of partnership

On June 2, 2026, the Kingdom of Morocco took center stage at the prestigious Konsularischer Abend in Düsseldorf, marking a pivotal moment in the 70-year history of Moroccan-German relations before an audience of 300 influential political and economic leaders.
The event highlighted Morocco’s growing influence as a key partner for Germany in North Africa and beyond. General Consul Boutaina Bouabid and Secretary General Ismail Lamghari underscored the depth of the strategic alliance between Rabat and Berlin, emphasizing the vital role played by the Moroccan community in Germany as a cultural and economic bridge.
