King Mohammed VI of Morocco recently directed the formal transfer of the Mohammed VI Vocational Training Complex to the Malian authorities. This significant facility, located in Bamako, is dedicated to professional development in the fields of Building and Public Works (BTP), as well as Hospitality, Tourism, and Catering. Constructed by the Mohammed VI Foundation for Sustainable Development, the complex spans a covered area of 5,200 square meters. It offers specialized vocational training programs designed to meet current employment market demands. The center places a strong emphasis on practical skill acquisition, combining theoretical instruction with hands-on field experience, ultimately aiming to enhance youth employability.
Once fully operational, this modern infrastructure will accommodate approximately 1,000 trainees annually. These students will pursue studies across 21 distinct training specializations, with 12 streams focused on BTP professions and 9 programs dedicated to the burgeoning tourism, hospitality, and catering sectors.
