During a courtesy visit in New York, Omar Hilale, Morocco’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations and current Chair of the UN Peacebuilding Commission, met with Colombian Ambassador Leonor Zalabata Torres. As Colombia assumes the rotating presidency of the UN Security Council for June 2026, the meeting underscored the importance of unified international efforts in addressing global security challenges.
