The Royal Moroccan Armed Forces have recently enhanced their operational capabilities with the deployment of advanced Turkish-made Bayraktar Akıncı drones. High-resolution satellite imagery from the Ben Guerir Air Base confirms their presence, marking a significant upgrade in the country’s defense infrastructure.
These cutting-edge unmanned aerial vehicles were officially integrated into the base last year, joining the existing fleet of Bayraktar TB2 drones. The addition of the Akıncı models reflects Morocco’s commitment to modernizing its military assets and strengthening its aerial surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities.
