Rabat and Amman have formalized their commitment to enhanced judicial collaboration. On Friday, August 28, 2026, in Rabat, Morocco and Jordan signed a significant extradition agreement designed to bolster their judicial cooperation and strengthen its underlying legal and institutional frameworks.

The accord received official endorsement from Moroccan Minister of Justice, Abdellatif Ouahbi, and his Jordanian counterpart, Bassam Samir Al-Talhouni. This signing followed comprehensive discussions focused on advancing judicial cooperation between the two nations.
