The Malian Armed Forces (FAMA) reported on Thursday that coordinated military operations in the northern regions of Anfif and Tabrachat resulted in the neutralization of approximately 100 armed combatants affiliated with militant groups.

According to an official statement, the operations specifically targeted fighters from the Group for the Support of Islam and Muslims (JNIM) and the Azauad Liberation Front (FLA). The strikes included 13 airstrikes, which successfully destroyed six combat vehicles and one pickup truck used by the militants.

The Russian Africa Corps, in a statement on X, highlighted the destruction of multiple militant vehicles and claimed responsibility for targeting a vehicle transporting ammunition and military supplies using an armed drone. The Corps described the operations as “highly successful joint missions” and reaffirmed its commitment to continuing strikes against militant positions and equipment.
