Mahamadou Sana, Burkina Faso’s Minister of Security, arrived in Bamako on May 31 for a high-level working visit. The primary objective was to deepen cooperation between the security services of both nations. Welcomed by his Malian counterpart, General Daoud Aly Mohammedine, Minister Sana participated in crucial discussions. These exchanges focused on strategies to combat armed groups, fortify border security, and strengthen coordination mechanisms within the Alliance of Sahel States (AES), which also includes Niger.
