In Côte d’Ivoire’s dynamic political landscape, former President Laurent Gbagbo continues to maintain a deliberate ambiguity regarding his succession as the leader of the Parti des Peuples Africains – Côte d’Ivoire (PPA-CI).

This persistent lack of clarity surrounding who will eventually take the reins of the PPA-CI from its influential founder leaves a significant question mark hanging over the party’s future direction. Gbagbo’s approach ensures that the leadership transition remains an open and undefined matter within the Ivorian political sphere.
