On the afternoon of Sunday, May 24, 2026, in Baga-Sola, the youth, represented by the Coordination of Lake Region Youth Associations (CADELAC), extended their solidarity to the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) actively engaged in the relentless battle against Boko Haram.
Addressing local officials, Coordinator Mahamat Adam Moustapha began by conveying heartfelt condolences to families affected by the recent assaults in Barka Tollorom. He then lauded the profound sacrifices made by the FDS in their mission to uphold peace, reiterating the youth’s steadfast commitment to fostering citizen vigilance and robust community mobilization.
In a gesture both humble and deeply symbolic, CADELAC presented five 50 kg bags of rice and ten cartons of pasta. This initiative, as articulated by the coordinator, powerfully underscores the unwavering resolve of a resilient youth generation dedicated to bolstering the security forces operating across the Lake Province.
