Laborex Tchad, a key subsidiary of the CFAO Healthcare group, proudly commemorated its thirtieth anniversary this Thursday, May 28th, marking three decades as a dominant force in Chad’s pharmaceutical distribution sector. The warm celebration honored the remarkable journey of an enterprise that has become indispensable in providing essential medicines and medical devices throughout the nation.
Established in 1996, Laborex Tchad has consistently supported the country’s healthcare infrastructure for thirty years. It ensures the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical products to pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, and health centers across the entire territory, serving major cities such as N’Djamena, Moundou, Sarh, Abéché, Bongor, and numerous other localities.
The celebratory event featured addresses from esteemed speakers, including Mme Ngarmbatina Sou IV, Chairperson of the Board, and M. Sébastien Roux, Deputy Zone Director for the CFAO Healthcare group.
During her speech, Mme Ngarmbatina began by acknowledging the Chadian authorities for their crucial support in the inception and growth of Laborex Tchad. She then extended her appreciation to the financial partners, pharmacists, pharmaceutical depots, hospital establishments, and all clients who have placed their trust in the company.
“You have chosen Laborex Tchad not merely out of habit, but based on unwavering trust,” she emphasized. “Our commitment is to professionalism: ensuring the right medication reaches the right place, at the right time, for every patient across the national territory.”
Visibly moved, she added, “Thirty years is a significant achievement. We look forward to at least another seventy years ahead of us.”

M. Sébastien Roux, for his part, reflected on his 24-year journey within the CFAO group and lauded the profound human endeavor that defines Laborex Tchad. He extended his tribute to past leaders, particularly Mme Maria Mion Calvet, and commended the current dynamic leadership embodied by Director General Mme Tignocqua.
“Laborex is a company with a rich history, yet it remains vibrant and youthful thanks to the dedication of all its human resources,” he affirmed.
Furthermore, he expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Public Health for its close collaboration, as well as to partner laboratories, banking institutions, and the entire staff for their unwavering daily commitment.
“It is through the collective efforts of each one of you that we are able to maintain a reliable supply of pharmaceutical products across the country,” he declared.
The ceremony concluded on a high note, filled with festive energy and accompanied by the distinctive rhythms of the balafon, a traditional instrument that captivated all attendees.
