Kenya and Chad deepen diplomatic ties
Kenyan President William Ruto highlights the strengthening of diplomatic relations with Chad, praising its leadership in supporting Haiti’s security.
The diplomatic partnership between Kenya and Chad has reached new heights, anchored in shared values, mutual respect, and a commitment to African solidarity.
Our nations will continue to champion joint positions that advance our people’s interests, drive continental progress, and strengthen international cooperation.
I commend Chad for its pivotal role in the UN-backed Multinational Security Support Mission in Haiti, where its deployed troops are making a tangible difference in restoring peace, stability, and hope for the Haitian people.
During productive discussions at the State House in Nairobi, I had the honor of meeting with President Mahamat Idriss Déby. I expressed my gratitude for Chad’s invaluable contributions to the recent Africa Forward Summit, which proved instrumental in shaping the continent’s future trajectory.
These reflections were shared by President William Ruto on his official Facebook page earlier today.
