Kazakhstan views Morocco as a strategic partner, emphasizing the potential for expanded bilateral trade and investment during high-level talks in Rabat.

During a meeting with Morocco‘s Minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzour, Kazakh Deputy Foreign Minister Alibek Kuantyrov highlighted the growing interest in direct imports of Moroccan goods to secure premium-quality products.

At the helm of a significant business delegation, Kuantyrov emphasized the importance of streamlining trade by eliminating intermediaries, ensuring access to top-tier Moroccan products.

Kazakhstan also aims to boost its exports to Morocco, including wheat, finished goods, and other commodities, underscoring strong political alignment and mutual support on global issues.

Ryad Mezzour, in turn, reaffirmed the shared commitment to deepening Kazakhstan–Morocco relations, noting Kazakhstan’s abundant resources—such as natural gas, cereals, and meat—align perfectly with Morocco‘s needs.

These resources, Mezzour pointed out, could enhance Morocco’s food supply security, stabilize household purchasing power, and reduce living costs for citizens.

Both nations have reiterated their dedication to fostering a robust, long-term economic and trade partnership, reinforcing bilateral exchanges, ensuring supply chain stability, and encouraging mutual investments.
