Government to host key conference on Côte d’Ivoire’s development roadmap
The Minister of Planning and Development, Souleymane Diarrassouba, will take center stage next Monday, 20 July 2026, at 10 a.m., during a high-level press briefing at the Primature’s auditorium in Abidjan-Plateau. This event, organized by the Government Information and Communication Center (CICG), is part of the Government Appointments series—a widely followed platform designed to foster direct dialogue between authorities and media, civil society, and professional bodies.
The session will be broadcast live across the Government’s digital channels, including Facebook, X, TikTok, and YouTube, ensuring broad access for national and international audiences.
National Development Policy in focus: priorities and transformation goals
During the conference, Minister Diarrassouba will unpack the National Development Policy (PND), outlining its core pillars and strategic vision. He will detail how the Government aims to drive structural economic change, accelerate industrialization, strengthen human capital, upgrade infrastructure, and enhance governance. A key emphasis will also be placed on ensuring balanced regional development to bridge disparities across Côte d’Ivoire.
The Government Appointments forum serves as a vital bridge between public policy and citizen engagement, offering a space for open discussion, feedback, and collaboration among stakeholders.
