The President of the Gabonese Republic, Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, arrived in Banjul, Gambia’s capital, yesterday for a four-day state and friendship visit. He was warmly received by Gambia’s President Adama Barrow, with whom he held a private meeting. This was followed by bilateral talks at the official residence, where both leaders reviewed existing cooperation areas and explored fresh opportunities for partnership. Among the planned stops are the National Food and Drug Quality Control Laboratory in Brusubi, the University of Gambia, the National Emergency Treatment Centre in Farato, and the renowned Kachikally Crocodile Pool in Bakau.
