The Gabonese government is stepping up its monitoring of projects financed by the African Development Bank (BAD) to fast-track their completion. This strategic move was at the heart of a high-level meeting chaired by Vice-President of the Government, Hermann Immongault, on June 29, 2026. The session brought together a BAD delegation led by the institution’s country representative, Mamour Ousmane Ba, alongside key ministers including Louise Mvono (Planning) and Pacôme Kossy (Agriculture). The gathering followed recent discussions in Brazzaville between the President of the Republic and the BAD President during the institution’s annual meetings, where progress on funded projects was reviewed and obstacles to their execution were addressed.
