In a statement released this Thursday, Dr. Thior, who previously served as the Technical Advisor for Health, articulated that his decision was made “in accordance with his principles.”

“Following the cessation of Monsieur Ousmane Sonko’s functions as Prime Minister, I have chosen to step down from the Cabinet, in alignment with my principles,” he affirmed in his communication.
