Prime Minister Robert Beugré Mambé opened the second day of the National Development Plan (PND) 2026-2030 Consultative Group, bringing together over 700 investors to fuel the nation’s economic growth.
The second day of the National Development Plan (PND) 2026-2030 Consultative Group kicked off on Thursday, July 9, 2026, in Abidjan at the Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire, under the leadership of Prime Minister Robert Beugré Mambé. This session, exclusively for investors, marks a pivotal moment in the nation’s economic trajectory.
« This marks a new phase in our consultative efforts focused on investment, enterprise, and value creation, » stated Robert Beugré Mambé. « Our goal is clear: mobilize private investments to turn our development ambitions into reality. I’m pleased to share that over 700 investors from friendly nations have joined us for this critical gathering. »
The presence of business leaders, investors, and private sector delegates underscored the significance of the event. The Prime Minister emphasized the forum’s dual purpose: fostering dialogue with private actors and aligning shared visions for growth.
« Your commitment speaks volumes about the trust you place in Côte d’Ivoire’s economic potential and growth prospects, » he told the audience. « You are key partners in turning our vision into a more competitive, job-creating economy. Success hinges on your willingness to invest. »
Highlighting the government’s strategy to position the private sector as the engine of economic transformation, the Prime Minister reassured investors of the nation’s resilience. With an average growth rate of 6.5% over recent years, Côte d’Ivoire stands as one of Africa’s most dynamic economies.
« This is an expanding market brimming with opportunities, » he noted. « Today’s discussions will accelerate investments in the PND 2026-2030 priority sectors—industrialization, local raw material processing, infrastructure development (transport, digital, logistics), human capital investment, innovation, and essential services. These efforts will enhance productivity and inclusivity. »
He also revealed that the first day of the Consultative Group, dedicated to institutional partners and development strategy presentations, attracted over 3,000 participants from 49 countries, including Côte d’Ivoire.
In response, leaders from the private sector echoed their confidence in Côte d’Ivoire’s vision. Ahmed Cissé, President of the General Confederation of Ivorian Enterprises (CGECI), along with Mehdi Tazi of Morocco’s General Confederation of Enterprises (CGEM) and Mohamed Gouled of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), pledged substantial financial commitments. Their message was clear: they are ready to play a leading role in executing the PND 2026-2030.
