The new CEO of Côte d’Ivoire Énergies (CI-ENERGIES), Traoré Amidou, took the reins on Friday, July 24, 2026, during a passing-of-the-torch ceremony led by Yves Konan, president of the board of administration.
He succeeds Noumory Sidibé, who has directed CI-ENERGIES for nearly five years.
A statement released on the occasion noted that the board of administration praised the ‘remarkable work’ of Noumory Sidibé, the outgoing CEO.
CI-ENERGIES is a state-owned entity responsible for driving and developing Ivory Coast’s electricity sector.
A new era begins in Côte d’Ivoire’s energy landscape as Traoré Amidou assumes leadership of CI-ENERGIES, promising to build on the achievements of his predecessor.
