Champions League final sees 9.1 million viewers, down from previous year

The overall viewership for this year’s Champions League final experienced a decline compared to the previous season. This dip can be attributed to several factors, including an earlier broadcast time than in prior years and a scheduling conflict with French tennis player Moïse Kouamé’s match at Roland Garros.

An average of 9.1 million football enthusiasts tuned in on Saturday, May 30, to witness Paris Saint-Germain secure their second consecutive Champions League title. The match was broadcast across both M6 and Canal+ channels. Despite PSG’s significant achievement, the cumulative audience figure registered lower than the previous year’s final, primarily due to a noticeable decrease in viewership on the M6 broadcast.
