The President of Chad, Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, returned to N’Djamena late last evening following an official visit to the United Arab Emirates.
Key meetings during the United Arab Emirates visit
During his official stay, the Chadian Head of State held two high-level meetings with the President of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The first discussion took place at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi, while the second meeting was hosted at the residence of Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno.
Warm welcome upon return to N’Djamena
Upon his arrival at N’Djamena International Airport, the President was greeted by a delegation led by Prime Minister Allah-Maye Halina. The welcoming committee also included the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, several government ministers, the Minister of State and Secretary-General of the Presidency, the Head of the Special Military Staff, the Deputy Civil Cabinet Director, the Deputy Special Secretary, and the Mayor of N’Djamena.
