Chad-car joint force commander aids injured korbol soldiers with urgent evacuation
General Moubarak Abakar Nassour Hor visited two injured Chad-CAR joint force soldiers from Korbol, emphasizing their urgent evacuation to N’Djamena for specialized medical care.
In a gesture of unwavering support, Brigadier General Moubarak Abakar Nassour Hor, who commands the joint force of Chad and the Central African Republic (Chad-CAR), recently visited injured soldiers from Korbol. On Sunday, May 10, 2026, General Hor traveled to the Provincial Hospital of Sarh Outel Bono to offer his solidarity and assess the condition of military personnel wounded during recent skirmishes in the Korbol department.
The primary objective of this visit was to ascertain the health status of two soldiers who sustained injuries in an armed assault that occurred the preceding Thursday in the region. The casualties included Sergeant Allahguernganye Diro Martial, 36 years old, who suffered a gunshot wound to the chest, and Corporal-Chief Djimet Issakah Dane, who sustained a fractured left leg from gunfire. Both servicemen were receiving initial care at the Sarh Provincial Hospital, but their injuries clearly mandated more specialized medical attention.
Following discussions with the attending physicians and healthcare staff, General Moubarak Abakar Nassour Hor promptly requested the swift transfer of the wounded soldiers to N’Djamena. This critical decision aims to ensure they receive advanced medical treatment and comprehensive care. Dr. Sayambaye Alladoumdjim, the Assistant Director of Sarh Provincial Hospital, commended the rapid response of the defense and security forces in facilitating the urgent evacuation of their comrades to N’Djamena for appropriate treatment.
Hospital sources confirmed that the medical evacuation for both soldiers was carried out with immediate effect on the same day. Military leadership holds strong hopes that this expedited transfer will significantly enhance their prospects for recovery and healing.
