Tchad strengthens diplomatic security with 12 new attachés
Chad has taken a significant step in bolstering its diplomatic presence abroad with the appointment of twelve security attachés to key missions. Through Decree N°1016/PR/PM/MAEIATE/2026, issued on May 22, 2026, the government formalized the assignments of these officers to represent the nation’s interests with heightened protection.
The newly designated security attachés will serve in Chad’s embassies and consulates across four continents, ensuring the safety of personnel and critical diplomatic operations. Below is the full list of appointees and their designated posts:
