The Republic of Burundi has once again reaffirmed its unwavering support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Morocco over its entire territory, encompassing the Sahara region.

This stance was clearly articulated in a joint communiqué issued following talks between Burundi’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration, and Development Cooperation, Édouard Bizimana, and his Moroccan counterpart, Nasser Bourita, who serves as Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Residing Abroad.
