The Burkinabè delegation touched down in Astana, Kazakhstan, on August 2, 2026, to compete in the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI) 2026, a global showcase of top young AI talents.

After rigorous national selections and intensive machine learning training sessions, Pascaline Lompo and Madina Toé will proudly represent Burkina Faso in this prestigious event. They are led by Team Leader Ariel Shadrac Ouédraogo, who will guide their preparation and strategy.
