Ouagadougou recently hosted a significant event underscoring the enduring strength of the friendship and cooperative ties between Burkina Faso and Italy. The occasion was the 80th anniversary of the Italian Republic, celebrated during an evening ceremony on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, organized by the Italian Embassy in Ouagadougou. The gathering brought together prominent Burkinabè officials, members of the diplomatic corps, and Italian citizens residing in the country.
Representing the Burkinabè government, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bêbgnasgnan Stella Eldine Kabré/Kaboré, graced the commemorative event.
