ALGIERS – In a pivotal stride for regional energy advancement, Algerian Minister of Energy and Renewable Energies, Mourad Adjal, and Chadian Minister of Water and Energy, Passalé Kanabé Marcelin, officially signed an agreement today in Algiers. This significant accord sets the stage for the construction of a powerful 40-megawatt electricity generation plant in N’Djamena, Chad. This initiative highlights a mutual dedication to strengthening energy infrastructure and fostering deeper collaboration between the two nations, aligning with the strategic vision of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who advocates for robust support for African states and the promotion of South-South partnerships.
