Air Côte d’Ivoire and Air France are set to launch a reciprocal codeshare agreement on the Paris–Abidjan route starting October 25, 2026. This new partnership will allow both airlines to sell seats under their own flight codes on each other’s operated flights between Abidjan’s Félix Houphouët-Boigny Airport and Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport.

Expanded travel options for passengers

The codeshare deal significantly broadens travel choices for passengers flying between Ivory Coast and France. Travelers will now benefit from:

  • Access to an expanded schedule and increased flight frequencies through both airlines’ booking channels
  • Seamless booking under either airline’s brand for flights operated by the partner
  • Consolidated travel experience without changes to the actual operating carrier

Frequent flyer program integration planned for late 2026

In addition to the codeshare expansion, the two carriers are working toward integrating their loyalty programs. By the end of 2026, members of Air Côte d’Ivoire’s sMiles program and Air France’s Flying Blue will be able to:

  • Earn miles on all Paris–Abidjan flights operated by either airline
  • Redeem their miles for future flights across both carriers’ global networks
  • Enjoy reciprocal benefits when flying either airline between the two destinations

Long-term growth strategy for Air Côte d’Ivoire

The Paris–Abidjan codeshare marks just the beginning of Air Côte d’Ivoire’s expansion strategy. The airline plans to extend this partnership to additional routes within Air France’s network by the first half of 2027, leveraging its partner’s extensive global distribution network to boost visibility and accessibility to Ivory Coast.

For passengers and the aviation sector, this collaboration promises more convenient connections, enhanced loyalty rewards, and broader international access to Ivory Coast through a strengthened Franco-Ivorian alliance.
